Service fees, not third-party costs
I'll beat a comparable service quote by 10%.
Already have a written quote from an Australian business with a verifiable active ABN? For the same eligible remote work, my service fee will be 10% below their quoted service fee. I give you a quote before work starts, and nothing starts until you approve the scope and price.
What makes a quote eligible?
- A genuine written quote that is still valid when you send it, showing the business name, ABN, date, work included and price.
- An active ABN that can be verified through the Australian Government's ABN Lookup.
- The same scope, deliverables, timeframe and level of support, for work I offer and can carry out remotely.
- A clearly identified total service fee, with any GST and third-party costs separated. An hourly rate or estimate without an agreed total is not enough to calculate the saving.
If the quote bundles service fees with other costs, ask the quoting business for a breakdown. I will check the quote against these terms and explain any differences before you decide.
All offered remote services are included
- Website updates and fixes
- Business email and online setup
- Online shop updates
- Spreadsheets and data jobs
- AI and business automation
- Other remote tech jobs
That includes AI and business automation when the requirements, testing, deliverables and support are comparable. The offer does not add services I do not provide: hardware repairs or device drop-offs, cabling or on-site Wi-Fi work, home or office visits, emergency incident response, round-the-clock support.
How the saving is calculated
I compare service fees excluding GST and quote 90% of the eligible competitor's service fee. Software licences, subscriptions, hosting, domains, hardware and other third-party costs are not discounted. My quote shows those costs and any applicable GST separately.
Example: A quote lists $800 in service fees excluding GST and $200 in software costs. My service fee would be $720 excluding GST — an $80 saving on the service fee. Software costs remain separate; any applicable GST is added to my quote.
The saving applies to the agreed work. If you later request extra work or change the scope, I will quote that separately for your approval before doing it.
How to ask for the offer
- Describe the job in the contact form and mention the 10% quote-beating offer before approving my quote.
- When I reply, I will explain how to share the written quote. Keep unrelated personal details, passwords and customer records out of it.
- I check eligibility and send you the scope, discounted service fee and any separate charges. You decide whether to proceed.
